INIA Golf Classic 2008

The INIA Golf Classic took place on October 9th in Luttrellstown Golf Resort in Castleknock. Despite the forecasts the rain stayed away, but stong winds and tricky greens, made for a chelleging day. Despite this, some excellent scores were carded.

We would like to repeat our thanks to all of the sponsors for the day, without whom the event could not take place. In particular we would like to thank those sponsors who took part in the event, which proves year on year to be a great networking event for the industry and our key trade partners.

Second prize was won by a three ball only beaten on a count back, consisting of [ L-R ] Martin O'Mahoney of Irish Distillers, Niall Little of Alan Little & Partners, and Shane Campbell of Swifts of Newbridge.

Winner of 3rd prize, representing Karma of Galway and Athlone, were [ L-R ] Ray Lynch, John Callanan, Tom Callanan and Noel Larkin.

The longest drive was won by Mark Underwood of Lillies Bordello.

 

Nearest the pin was won by Shane Campbell of Swifts of Newbridge, pictured on the right collecting his prize from Barry O'Sullivan, INIA Chief Executive.
